Featuring views of Lake Taupo and the surrounding mountains, the Mediterranean-style Pillars Retreat is set on 3 acres of parkland grounds with large trees and lawn areas. Breakfast is included, and guests enjoy a glass of wine and canapes each evening.
Pillars Retreat is only a 10-minute drive from Taupo town center. It is a 15-minute drive to Taupo Airport and to Huka Falls. Free bus depot and airport transfers are provided.
Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning or can be enjoyed al fresco in the courtyard. Homemade afternoon tea is provided upon arrival.
Each room includes a TV, refrigerator, private bathroom and under-floor heating. Guests will find a selection of teas, coffee, fresh fruit and bottled water in their room.
The spacious shared lounge area features double doors that open onto the lawn and overlook the tennis court. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and gazebo with outdoor seating.
