Come stay at the Tauranga Wetland House, set in a great location just 15 minutes from Mount Maunganui beaches, 10 minutes to Tauranga for shops & restaurants, 45 minutes to Rotorua and Hobbiton. Also nearby is a great shopping centre at Bethlehem, a 5 minutes drive away. Plenty of choice of outdoor activities close by, including golf at Tauranga Golf club, Fernland Spa or pick your own strawberries on Moffat Road. The TECT all-terrain park offers great mountain biking, as does Oropi Grove Bike trail. You can walk or cycle extensively from the nearby wetland area which also includes a lovely children's playground. Snow skiing is 3 hours away at Mt Ruapehu in winter.
