Located next to the Whanganui River, Braemar House is a restored historic building, built in 1880, that offers a range of accommodations options from Deluxe Private rooms in the B&B wing through to Economy Family/Group and Private Cabins and budget-friendly shared Dormitory rooms.
All rooms at Braemar House Wanganui include central heating. Some rooms in the B&B wing have access to the veranda with garden and river views. All B&B wing rooms are decorated in period design.
There is a fully equipped kitchen for hostel guests’ use. Breakfast is served in the dining room for B&B wing guests. Both the hostel and B&B wing have a large lounge with TV, DVD player and a library.
